DELIVERY

At Pure and Gentle SkinCare Ltd we take pride in processing your order as quickly as possible. Our aim is to deliver your products to you as follows:-

within 4-5 working days if you live in the UK
within 8-10 working days if you live anywhere else in the world

But 95% of our orders are dispatched the same day if placed by midday.

In the event of an unforeseen delay we will advise you immediately.

If your order has not arrived within the time we specify, please contact us with your order reference and we will provide you with a progress report. You will find your order reference number on the order confirmation email we send you when you placed your order.

Please note that, where possible, it is our policy to use recycled packaging materials. We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We use recycled boxes as outer packaging, recycled tissue paper to wrap your products, and shreadded paper for packing around your products.

POSTAGE

UK Postage

Delivery is either by Royal Mail Second Class. A signature may be required. Postage and packaging costs are £3.50 per order.

Overseas Postage


European Union

Delivery is by Royal Mail Airmail. Postage and packaging costs will be calculated according to the weight of the product(s) you are purchasing. This cost will be clearly displayed at the Checkout. A signature may be required on delivery.

This delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that may be levied on importation. These charges must be paid by the consignee.


Rest of the World

Delivery is by Royal Mail Airmail. A signature may be required on delivery.

Postage and packaging costs will be calculated according to the weight of the product(s) you are purchasing. This cost will be clearly displayed at the Checkout.

This delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that may be levied on importation. These charges must be paid by the consignee.

The postage costs will include a compulsory insurance fee of £4.20 per parcel.

RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY

You have the right to cancel your order for a full refund from the date of the contract and up to 7 working days from the day after you receive your goods. You do not need to give a reason. But you must return the goods within 10 days of receipt. The Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to change your mind and cancel an order within 7 working days. If you do decide to cancel, then you should put this in writing by letter or email.

Should you cancel your order, any refund will be sent out to you within 30 days of any returns. We request that you return the goods to us at your own cost. You must ensure that the goods are returned to us using a recorded delivery service or proof of posting. The goods must be returned to us in an unused condition. This does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to offer you a replacement product or a full refund. If you choose to take a refund, we will also refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning your order to us.

Our Returns Policy covers all products with the exception of DermaSilk and DermaTherapy where a refund will only be given if these products are faulty. If you order the wrong size in error, we will provide an exchange.

To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address below. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any). Then send the package to:

Our payment systems utilises Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - look out for the padlock. SSL services gives you complete piece of mind when shopping in our store. Secure payments are processed through PayPal. We do not store or hold credit card information anywhere on our networks.

Your privacy and the security of the information you provide in placing your order is of paramount importance to us.

Your name and address will be used to send you your order. We may also use your email address to confirm your order. Some products will be shipped directly from the manufacturer or UK distributor. In the case of your order being shipped directly from the manufacturer/distributor, only your delivery address will be disclosed to that manufacturer, and disclosed for the fulfilment of that order only.

From time to time we may use the information you provide to let you know about developments on the site, information, special offers and promotions from third party companies.

Our data collection and storage is governed by the rules of our registration with the UK's Data Protection Act 1998. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Act.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us and if you do elect to receive communications from Pure and Gentle SkinCare, you can unsubscribe at any time.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

credit/debit card details (however, as above because we use secure payments processed through PayPal, we do not store or hold credit card information anywhere on our networks).

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Should you have any questions about privacy, or wish to opt out from receiving promotional material you should send an email to customer services stating you wish to be removed from our mailing lists.
