What causes red, itchy skin?
Eczema and psoriasis are two examples of conditions that may cause red, itchy skin. Regardless of the cause, this condition can be unsightly and very irritating.

Why should I avoid soap?
It is best to avoid soap if you have red, itchy skin. Most soap has an alkaline pH (more than 7.0) that can damage your skin’s natural layer of protective oils. This then leaves your skin more susceptible to further damage, irritation and infection.

All products in the Pinetarsol range are soap free cleansers and with a pH of 6, similar to the skin, help to maintain your skin’s natural layer of protection against infection and irritation.
